    I am so glad I have stumbled upon your channel because you really helped me focus on the importance of functional training. Although I do like training my muscles, whenever I do my RDLs, Renegade Rows, or Dead Bugs, in my head, I’m thinking of the heavy groceries I need to carry, or a 5 gallon of water I change every week, or me acting like my dad’s support/crutch whenever he needs to walk. Visible Abs are hard to maintain anyway. Fuck that and give me Core Balance & Stability <3

    oh my this is very useful! I might need to rewatch and learn again!
    I have been doing core work and I do not feel it gets stronger. I hope by incorporating these movements would help.

    I really love your videos, you are so talented. I mean this video is so FULL and well explained, you really know your stuff! And there’s so much information, examples and quality pictures! I always learn so much🙌🏽. FUNCTIONAL FUNCTIONAL FUNCTIONAL 🤩
    My favorite exercise was the SA clean with the rotation! I also really love snatches and Turkish getups, I NEVER do crunches lol!

    After a month of consistent unilateral training it’s so satisfactory to "feel" the core strong and steady when I lunge or deadlift. You can’t see the six pack, but they’re working so hard for me.

    Thanks for the exercise suggestions. My favorite is the Pilates 100, which I think is a form of the Hollow Hold. I like adding in the breathing. I was interested in your thinking on light weights heavy reps. I never considered it to be a trend, since it was the majority of workouts for years. I feel like heavy weights are the current trend, although a good one. I like light weights as a change, I can’t do heavy weights more than twice a week. Although 10 pounds is heavy for me. Were you saying it’s a trend on Tik Tok? That’s interesting. I guess it’s like fashion, I can’t believe the 80’s are back!

    Wow! Thanks for this. Was thinking I would actually have to add core unto my workout and you just explained why it’s not necessary and saved me some time. I do have a question though, how often do you think we should do a core specific workout? Once a week or everyday?
