Best diet is a balanced diet with both plant and animal based and locally sourced. I lost 26 pounds since May 1. All I am doing is eating a little less and doing a lot more walking.
Technically I determined my basal metabolic rate based on my height, age, gender, and weight. Reduced my caloric intake by 300 to 400 calories below my BMR then burned another 1000 a day by walking 10 miles on a treadmill.
Generally a person burns 1 calorie per kilogram of body weight per kilometer. When I was 165 pounds (75 Kg) I burned about 75 calories per KM or about 120 per mile on a treadmill at 1.4% incline. Currently I’m losing a pound every 2.2 days on average.
No magic fad diets. No magic pills. No pain. No stress. Just eating what I did before, just a little less and walking a whole lot more is all it takes. Who would have knew it is this easy?
