Gluten free is not on the rise.. It’s just a phase they’re going through.. every server months/years someone comes with an Idea that appeals the intuitive psychology but has no real world basis.. society grows out of those phases.. If you remember, we had the Paleo phase which is now known to be mostly none sense (for most genetics) and goverments used to actually recommend milk when you don’t see a single other mammal drinking it post maturity..

Red wine and olive oil are not good for you, but neutral for your health at best (if not overconsumed). nutritionfacts.org

Also, it’s a myth that vegetables are low-carb. They are about 90-95% carbs.

  4. Kiara Mignone on January 20, 2022 at 9:57 pm

Jimmy Kimmel must hate the gluten free diet. You don’t have to know that it is a protein found in wheat to know that it is not good for your body. I really dislike him.

  7. SweetTea742 on January 20, 2022 at 10:02 pm

Good grief people! One minute a food item is praised (margarine, soy, vegetable oil, whole wheat, dark chocolate etc) and then the next minute it’s demonized… Only to come back and be praised again years later and then demonized after!!!

Juice cleansing- For people who think giving the kidneys a rest is a good thing. Kidney rest is a kidney failing to work which is kidney failure.

  15. Francisco Delgado on January 20, 2022 at 10:09 pm

All diets are fads and not suitable for longevity. Just eat clean and exercise. Don’t fall for these scams.

There might be something to hot yoga. I do construction work and often sweat out about 3L of water per day, and I feel surprisingly good at the end of the day. It feels so refreshing.

  26. David Jackson on January 20, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Regarding the Mediterranean diet it doesn’t mention meat. I’m allergic to fish and I saw fish in the Mediterranean diet dishes.

Back in the days of the Xbox 360 my mom would allow me 30 mins of gameplay of a game of my choosing in exchange for every 15 minutes of playing on the kinect

  30. FrancisM on January 20, 2022 at 10:29 pm

Idiots lose weight with the gluten-free diet, not for the lack of gluten, but because they are either willingly or unwillingly avoiding goddamn carbs!
Lo-carb diet works… given your problem is that you love to stuff your mouth with uncanny amounts of potatoes, wheat and corn products.

  31. Alecks1990 on January 20, 2022 at 10:29 pm

you know what a fucking it food should be?

    where is crossfit?

  33. TimeLady8 on January 20, 2022 at 10:32 pm

Gluten is the protein from wheat and is an essential ingredient in breads and other baked goods. Without it, bread isn’t as elastic nor does it rise well. I couldn’t make my oat bread without the addition of vital wheat gluten to the dough.

Raw foods. Yeah, like dried beans and tapioca. No, wait, those are toxic unless cooked. Never mind.

I like my Wii fit, but the board really should be wider.

  35. Gabriela Mallo on January 20, 2022 at 10:34 pm

My two cents is that some of these diet plans are good in moderation, but no need to go extreme and only eat those foods. I think we can all benefit from eating more fruits/vegetables in their raw state, adding good fats like olive oil to your meals, drinking more natural juices (and by that, I don’t mean Tropicana or whatever is sold at the nearest grocery store), and eating less processed foods. That being said, we shouldn’t go too extreme either.

    I’ve tried the masturbation diet.

Its where you masturbate four times a day. When you ejaculate, you use energy, which burns calories, thus, making you lose weight. Do this for 2 months and watch what happens.

  49. ZhangtheGreat on January 20, 2022 at 10:49 pm

Let’s make sure this simple message is understood by everyone: *DIETS DO NOT WORK!* Why? Diets are temporary, and once you’re off that diet, you’re back to your old eating habits and seeing your old results return. You want to live healthy forever? Change your lifestyle!

  50. y.o. on January 20, 2022 at 10:51 pm

so actually practicing responsible moderation is still not popular?… go figure…
