    About the first video
    My resting metabolism is 1100 kcal I work an office job and try to burn 400 kcal a day through exercise but that isn’t always possible

    We don’t know if this girl is truly eating ‘too little’ we don’t know her height and weight

    I eat around 3000 calories a day when I eat intuitively and often feel guilty about that despite me being a healthy weight. It’s drilled into our heads that a grown woman should eat 1200-2000cals which is a laughably small amount. Can we please reject diet culture and take GENERALIZED nutrition guidelines with a grain of salt?

    Personally, I eat 1000-1100 kcal per day without trying to do a calorie deficit. Did someone have this too ? I don’t know if it’s healthy or not bc I’m not really skinny 😐

    I’m 16 and 348 pounds (just saying this for anyone reading) I’m trying to put my self in a calorie deficit of 1200 calories, and I’m on day 2, I’m also trying to drink more water, it’s a very slow process, this is not the first time ive tried to diet, but i think this is going to be the best one, mostly because i’m not cutting out any food, just limiting my calorie intake

    i struggled with multiple eating disorders. it’s nothing glamorous like the tiktokers make it out to be. i passed out completely multiple times, i had phases of chronic severe headaches, i had to be hospitalized because my body was so weak, my father tried to wake me up one morning and i didn’t wake up, he thought i was dying… after all that pain, i developed binge eating and gained all the weight and more back. it’s horrible and i don’t wish that for anyone.

    Bye: did small workout in morning
    Lunch: small quiech and plum
    Recess: mandarin, apple
    After school : some biscuits I also had a chocolate bar
    : played on trampoline for like an hour
    Dinner: nachos

    Not caused by tiktok videos but I just became bulimic recently and I find it so hard. Bulimia isn’t just about vomiting everything you consume, it can also be in a way like you exercise excessively to burn all the calories. The type of bulimia that I have is an exercise bulimia wherein I would freak out and be emotional whenever I would skip a workout day. It’s worse to a point where I would literally breakdown all because I ate one block of chocolate. I know that it’s my fault for being bulimic. I was bullied severely by skinny people and it was embedded in my mind that being "skinny" and "thin" was the perfect or the superior body type. Right now I am very skinny and I became so sensitive about comments towards my body whether if the comment is good or bad. I couldn’t get over the fact that I still have slight belly rolls and slight man boobs and it’s what drives me into exercising excessively. I am still struggling with bulimia up to this day but I am trying my very best to fight it. I just hope everyone doesn’t starve and deprive themselves of food just for the sake of receiving positive remarks from other people, I kinda wish that I did too back then.

    In case it helps, Britain’s NHS shares that 2,223 calories is the average estimated energy requirement for a 13 year old girl. This only increases through adolescence (it’s nearly 2,500 calories for 17 y/o girls) and bear in mind that this is assuming an average level of activity which realistically isn’t going to be that much. Growth and development have significant energy requirements and we shouldn’t just take them as assumed ♥️ I hope it helps, love ya 💛

    Wow I think that I am always under eating but I don’t realize it because my body is so used to it. According to the research here it seems like if I eat more nutrition then I will have more energy and be less anxious because I will have enough food to fuel my brain and body.     If you’re fat, you eat too much and don’t do enough exercise. Facts. I used to be fat because I ate crap, didn’t exercise and made EXCUSES!!! If you’re happy being your size than videos of skinny people shouldn’t phase you. If they rule you it’s because you wish you could be that size and don’t want to put the effort in.     That ACV, lemon, cayenne pepper mixture hurt my stomach just looking at it. If I drink tea in the morning it makes me sick from too much acid so that definitely would fuck me up lmao.

    their issue is there are not enough educated people to be putting out content at all, to be honest. You’ll have people who do things that worked for them and tell everyone to do the same thing they did think that they will get the same results and that’s not always the case. It can be for some people but even then you might not get the exact same results. But for a lot of others, it might not work. we are all genetically different. on top of this, a lot of people putting out information, including influencers with big accounts, don’t know what they are talking about. and when they do stuff like this people, and younger kids latch on to them because they want to look like them. so not only are they getting bad information but they just become focus on looking a certain way. kids need to be focused on being kids and just eat in a healthier manner that s respective to their weight and body until they get older. But with all this being said, some people need to go on diets. they need to reduce caloric intake in order to lose weight. in a perfect world, intuitive eating could work but unfortunately, it doesn’t. and when you take into major consideration someone’s genetics, there are people out there who can get obese ALOT faster than others. while there are other people who find it harder to put on fat. it doesn’t mean they can’t gain weight, it just means their body’s genetic receptors don’t respond the same as everyone is different. so diets are needed, I don’t see an issue with dieting at all as long as they are done properly. if you diet right, then you can still have your energy levels and feel fine. it’s just not reality where people don’t diet and will lose weight.

    I do really drink one lemon with half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with cayenne pepper because I just found it so tasty 😂 but it is kinda acidic, so I only do it once a week. I feel like it it does give me a lot of energy throughout the day and i don’t have this dip in the afternoon anymore, I don’t need to nap. I guess it’s probably just a placebo effect but it still helps. Do you think drinking this is really bad?

    This kind of content is what needs to go viral! Like many others here in the comments, I was around on Tumblr during the pro ana days – when I caved and downloaded tiktok I quickly realized that it was very similar and harmful content and quickly deleted tiktok. I didn’t want to be a supporter of that in any way. I was honestly shocked that type of toxic content had made its way back onto the internet in a new and possibly more damaging delivery. I hope something changes and that other content creators can start sharing content like this, proper information with hard facts backed by evidence. Thank you!
