    All of those diseases this doctor has put down to animal products were unheard of a hundred years ago. EXPLAIN? NO. Sugar is the cause of all of them. In fact, Cancer feeds on sugar. FACT.

    Ok, nobody knows what manna was. The scripture said it had the appearance of a seed or grain, and could be used like flour. Dehydrated egg white, or milk can be ground up and used like flour as well. So that’s not evidence that the manna was a plant food. To acknowlege that manna was miraculous (and, by definition, unexplainable) and in the same breath insist that one knows what it consisted of is intellectually dishonest. Scripture does not tell us what the manna was, simply that it looked like grain and was nutritious. If it was actually grain, why would the writer have taken the trouble to point out that it looked like grain and could be used like grain? This context actually supports the idea that it WAS NOT grain, or the writer would have just said "God rained down grain from heaven".

    Essential aminoacids profile of soy protein is very similar to meat protein profile, but it has half the amount of methionine and a different no essential aminoacids profile. I am not sure about leucine.

    Why do vegans always depend on God? No one dies from veganism or lack of protein. The only reason people are sick and fat these days is down to sugar. SUGAR.

    This guy is an excellent presenter. Unfortunately his talks are laden with wrong, incorrect information, filled with assumptions, false assertions and agendas based idealism. He is correct in the fact that almost any diet is better than the Standard American diet. I compliment the guy on charisma and effort is his talk. I’m sure he is a great guy. Just wrong on many things. No mention of plant toxins such as lectins, oxalates, etc. Choose your diet wisely. Agenda biases are strong in presentation. Association does not equal causation. If you see a fire truck at all fires, doesn’t mean the fire trucks cause the fire.

    Wow. For a bio chemist he sure cherry picks the chemistry. All things start from carbohydrates? What about before there were plants? Don’t use bile quotes if you’re going to talk about evolution. And if evolution, didn’t it all start with a single cell? Where were his carbs? Essential fats, essential proteins, essential minerals and vitamins, many of which are not found in plants or plant form… But ok. And people die from veganism quite often, at least the ones who don’t quit in the first 2 years due to the number one reason to quit…. Catastrophic health failure. Eat your veggies!

    Amazing how those pieces of newsprint popped out of fresh air from a so-called magazine that was headed VEGETARIAN, not VEGAN. And those bits of paper probably came from anywhere unheaded and from any printed magazine or typed paper. Dr. Gregger has a habit of doing this.
