Protecting mental health in crazy times: A To-Do list | Heather Wokusch | TEDxGrosseto

Mental health and emotional wellbeing have taken a hit during the pandemic, with frontline workers, young people, and those in conflict-impacted communities at particular risk. How can we counteract the increasing rates of depression, anxiety, suicide and addiction accompanying COVID-19? How can we handle trauma on personal and collective levels while promoting healing for ourselves and for our societies? This intimate TEDx Talk shares a checklist for addressing mental injury and building resilience. Psychotherapist and virtual-learning expert Heather Wokusch develops innovative approaches for scaling resilience, emotional wellbeing and mental health. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
