Elizabeth Sloan, CEO/President, Sloan Trends, Inc., shared food trends post COVID-19 during the Pan-Asia Soy Food Summit, a digital event that took place June 9 – 11, 2020. She stressed the attention the pandemic has put on health, and how that relates to food trends. Sloan noted that Asia Pacific is the fastest growing region for healthy and packaged foods. She also touched on fermented foods, complete proteins, gut microbiome health, condition prevention, plant-based and blended products and more. She explained how Asia leads many of these trends. And, Sloan highlighted how well soy fits into many of these trends.
