Apple Watch SE coming in 2-6 weeks! No. Regrets.

Just got my 6 this weekend. A few questions. When walking, I usually have a shoulder bag that keeps me from swinging my left arm ( left wrist has the watch). After a two hour walk it registered just a few mins of “exercise”. If I start a workout for “outdoor walk” — am I supposed to pause it when ( for example) I go into a store to shop, or just let it keep running? Similarly, if I’m walking home with 25 lbs of groceries ( which prevent arms from swinging and puts extra stress on respiration, slows pace, and shortens stride — is there a way to tell watch I’m carrying a heavy weight… or will it think I’m huffing and puffing from a simple walk? Loving the watch features, but I feel I’m not doing this right.

Hello apple, my Apple Watch shows Kilocalories, not calories. As I live in England it may be different to the American terminology. Also, is there a way to change the kilocalories to calories…. Thanks!

Edit: I fixed the problem by going into my health app on my phone and going into active energy and changing it to calories!

So far I find my versa was way better at accuracy for steps and flights I’m kinda disappointed with my Apple Watch 6 to be honest. I counted all my flights 48! Watch… says 7🙄 steps exercised helped a move plus like I said 48 flights!! 7000 steps ya ok😳 not sure it was worth the money to be honest

2:37 Thank You for this cause I was thinking you probably can view your weekly exercises on your phone. When I looked to view weekly summary on the Apple Watch I only got a chart. Can you also view your weekly exercises on your Apple Watch ⌚️?

My Apple Watch is not tracking my exercise minutes, I did a 45 minute workout with the fitness app and it’s about 20 min off… I’ve already recalibrated it and still no improvements,…help please!!

  23. ryaan sehgal on July 19, 2021 at 11:27 pm

It is not showing calories it’s showing mins idk why

  24. Keliam on July 19, 2021 at 11:28 pm

My step counter is very inaccurate. My health data is entered/accurate and fitness tracking is turned on in both my phone & watch settings. Tried to calibrate via a 20 min workout walk and my total daily step count increased by only 80 steps! Yeah right. Seems legit. Wondering if it’s time to wipe all previous activity via recalibration. Bummed if that’s the case. ::sigh::

@Apple Support – Last Question – Is the Apple watch Activity App on iPhone is also available on iPad Pro 2020 ?

  33. Marco Hu on July 19, 2021 at 11:41 pm

I closed my rings and my steps is 1000

  34. Azaro F1 on July 19, 2021 at 11:41 pm

    Does it do this automatically?

  35. Leon Song Almstedt on July 19, 2021 at 11:42 pm

I have a problem. I can’t see my rings on my iPhone and it’s just blank. The exercises I do don’t save anymore on my IPhone. Can I please get help?!

  36. Nicole Sheldon on July 19, 2021 at 11:43 pm

Ok so I am a little confused. Yesterday I did a work out that was like a 35 minute work out but only counted 28 minutes. But under exercise it say 28/30 total = 13h 24m. Same thing for my move goal. I have it set at 500. And it say 878/500 and then say total cal 3,221.

  37. Tom J on July 19, 2021 at 11:47 pm

Fitness app won’t show my map of my activity..all location services have been enabled. For this price this should setup automatically

  38. YAY GO ME on July 19, 2021 at 11:47 pm

Ive spent hours and hours, days trying to find a way to get this advertised tracking to actually work. If you are thinking about buying this watching, Just google "exercise ring not tracking" and see the endless people that cant get any of this advertised "magic" to work… Ive set my watch to 30 minutes exercise and had 130+ heart rate for the entire duration, ive been sweating my butt off while doing the fastest walk i can, any faster i would be running for 45 minutes, i was totally dead and i get 2 minutes of "exercise" on my ring. Ive had fitbit and galaxy watches and this is the least motivating watch ever. So irritating to work so hard and not even be able to close the rings. Do i want to keep being active.. No i want to throw this watch out of the window and have every car and lorry on the planet run it over!!!

  41. April Loughnan on July 19, 2021 at 11:49 pm

    Hi there!
New series 6 arrived today. Just wondering how do I change the screen when it’s in standby mode? Not the Home Screen the one that has power% & time..

  42. lost 2weeks on July 19, 2021 at 11:50 pm

Can I somehow make it that the stepcount is shown on the display instead of the activity or so? I only care about steps to be honest and I don’t want to open the app and scroll down all the time to check how many I have

  43. Albert Dupont on July 19, 2021 at 11:53 pm

@Apple Support – Can I turn off bluetooth on my apple watch and sync later on my apple phone ? Thanks!

  44. SayItWitYaChest on July 19, 2021 at 11:59 pm

I know the watch count steps for the day, but when I do a specific workout, I want it to count steps just for that workout. Like the Fitbit. Does the Apple Watch do that

  45. Alasdair Hooper on July 20, 2021 at 12:00 am
